An Italian prisoner who broke out of a Sicilian courthouse last Friday was recaptured overnight, local sources said Sunday.
The escape of Francesco Adragna, 36, who had escaped from the Trapani courthouse on Friday morning, where he had been taken from the Agrigento prison to attend a trial hearing in which he was charged with theft, ended at 2.50am tonight.
The fugitive was tracked down by the prison police and Carabinieri in the Trapani countryside, between Xitta and Paceco, while he was meeting with his companion
