Immersive Journey Unfolding: Trapani Province Showcases Rich Culture and Traditions

More than a standard tourist excursion, this is a fully immersive voyage through the splendors, culture, and traditions of Trapani province. The tourism sector of CNA Trapani, led by President Cristina Cianti, is orchestrating specially designed experiential itineraries in a comprehensive program that aspires to unveil the wonders of Trapani province in just four days, from October 13th to 16th, 2023.

The tourism sector of CNA Trapani has hosted nine buyers from the USA, Canada, Spain, Germany, India, and France, who expressed interest in participating in this unique tour. They were welcomed in the captivating seaside village of Castellammare del Golfo.

Cristina Cianti remarks, "To our great surprise, Trapani province was among the most sought-after destinations in Sicily by the buyers who embraced CNA's initiative to organize tours on the island, almost like an extension of the recently concluded TTG Travel Experience in Rimini."

"This is the first time Trapani province has participated in this initiative," state the leaders of CNA Trapani, Francesco Cicala and Giuseppe Orlando. "It's a project we've been working on for a few years, and it has involved various tourism operators in our territory who are our associates, including hoteliers, restaurateurs, and those involved in transfers. The goal is to create synergies and collaborations to fuel the tourism sector of the province, which, given the wealth of attractions, can truly become the driving force of the local economy."

Notably, the program proposed to the buyers by CNA Trapani encompasses a diverse range of visits and experiences. This spans from the tourist harbor of Castellammare del Golfo, through the salt road from Trapani to Marsala, historic wineries, the Faraglioni of Scopello, and the Zingaro Nature Reserve, culminating with a visit to the Archaeological Park of Segesta.

Laura Murana of CNA Trapani adds, "We've also decided to offer experiences that narrate the uniqueness of our territory. Besides tasting the culinary excellences of our land, we'll teach our guest tourism operators how to cook Trapani-style couscous, thanks to a restaurant that has volunteered to be a 'cooking school'. We'll take them on a catamaran excursion amid the beauties of the Egadi Islands, and pamper them with a massage using the salt from our salt pans."

Cristina Cianti concludes, "We want them to fall in love with our land even more than we have, and to return soon with many new tourists."
